Your data, your choices
Calculations run in your browser. Page views are counted without cookies; optional analytics stay off unless you choose to allow them. You can calculate, save row progress, copy results and download blueprints without an account or analytics.

Who runs Sealmount
Sealmount is independently operated by Aaron, who is responsible for the site's handling of personal information. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email support@sealmount.com.
What stays on your device
Pixel art projects, imported reference images, edited pixels, palette snapshots, build progress and material stock are stored locally in this browser's IndexedDB. No image or project is uploaded. Clear this site's data to remove them; download a project file to keep a copy.
The calculators do not upload coordinates, Minecraft worlds, blueprint contents or saved row progress. PNG, SVG, TXT and structure files (.litematic, .mcstructure) are created in your browser. If you share a downloaded file yourself, the service you share it with has its own privacy practices.
Circle per-layer row checklists and your last valid blueprint settings, selected layer, current row, guide preference, optional owned block count and optional north-west block X/Z coordinates are saved in this browser's local storage. These stay on this device and are not uploaded or synced between devices. The last-build record is replaced when you edit a valid plan or use its build controls; clearing this site's browser data removes it and the row checklists.
The Nether Portal tool can save named routes, optional world names, entrance coordinates, the selected edition and your manual travel checks. Route files are imported and exported locally in your browser. The Beacon tool can save its pyramid, materials, reserved stock, upgrade plans, selected effects, layer progress and manual activation checks. These records are not uploaded or synced and are removed when you clear site data. A saved checkmark records your own action; the tools do not connect to your game.
The Sphere and dome generator saves the rows you mark done in each layer, separately for each shape and size, and the last shape you planned, with the layer and row you were on, so it reopens next time. Both stay in this browser's local storage; they are not uploaded or synced and are removed when you clear site data. Its 3D view is drawn on your device with code served by Sealmount and sends nothing.
If you enter them, the generator also keeps an optional owned block count and optional north-west block X/Z coordinates with that last plan.
Share images are drawn on your device. When you share one, your device's share sheet or the site you choose receives the image and its link; Sealmount never uploads the image. Whether you leave each optional question on a tool page open or closed is remembered on this device (local storage key sealmount-ask-v1) and is never sent.
Analytics choices are stored separately, with a preference version and dates, without a visitor ID. New choices are remembered for up to 180 days; when a choice expires or is missing, optional analytics remain off until you choose again. Existing off preferences remain respected.
Turning off already-running analytics may reload a page. A short-lived, browser-only session record can preserve calculator settings and scroll position for that reload; it is removed when restored and is not uploaded. Language switches use the same mechanism to briefly keep calculator settings, the current row where applicable, and scroll position in the current tab, then restore them on the same tool and remove the record without uploading it. Clearing this site's browser data removes local progress and privacy preferences. Downloaded files remain under your control.
A separate browser-tab session flag remembers whether the language tip has been shown so it does not repeat in that tab session; it contains no visitor ID and is not uploaded.
Fonts are served by Sealmount. Opening a page does not request fonts from Google Fonts.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Delivering pages and detecting abuse involves connection and request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and security signals. This happens when you access the site, including when optional analytics are off.
Cloudflare may run browser security checks and use security cookies when its protection features require them. Their use and lifetime depend on the check or challenge; see Cloudflare's security-cookie information. These security functions are separate from optional usage analytics.
Page views counted without cookies
Every page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It runs without asking first because it uses no cookies, local storage or identifiers, so it cannot recognise a returning visitor or link visits from the same browser. For each page view it records the page address, the referring site, the browser and device type, the country and how quickly the page loaded. Read Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation.
This count does not depend on Analytics settings: keeping analytics off applies to Google Analytics and the tool-action counts, not to this count. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the page does not load Cloudflare Web Analytics at all. It is also never loaded in automated browsers or on addresses other than https://sealmount.com.
If this browser already had a saved analytics choice before this update, page-view counting waits until you acknowledge the update with OK or make a new analytics choice. OK does not enable Google Analytics or tool-action counts.
Optional analytics
Choosing Allow analytics enables the following measurements to help improve the tools:
- Tool action counts: our endpoint counts a changed valid calculation, a successful copy, an export prepared as PNG, SVG, TXT, .litematic or .mcstructure, a share image sent from your device's share sheet or opened in the share panel, the first row marked done, completed tool checklists, resumed saved plans and saved portal pairs. Stored events contain only the tool name, action, output format where relevant, the selected interface language (or unknown for older clients), and a server timestamp. They do not include input values, coordinates, blueprint or file contents, row numbers, referrers or visitor IDs.
- Google Analytics 4: Google uses first-party cookies with random identifiers to measure visits, sessions, basic device/browser information, approximate location and a limited set of tool actions. Unlike our identifier-free Cloudflare tool counts, these identifiers can link visits from the same browser. We send only known page paths without query strings or fragments, the referring site without its path, and approved action labels. We do not send calculator inputs, coordinates, blueprint contents or saved progress.
For Pixel art, consented counts cover the first edit, starting a build, restoring a project, and exports as CSV, JSON or ZIP. These counts never include images or project contents.
Google states that GA4 processes IP addresses to derive location but does not log or store them. We do not enable Google signals, advertising personalization, session recordings or automatic collection of form entries. How Google safeguards Analytics data.
Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are set only after you allow analytics. We set a maximum lifetime of 180 days without extending it on each visit; your browser may shorten it. Turning analytics off removes these cookies from this site and stops new collection. Previous consent for Cloudflare alone does not enable Google Analytics: a new choice is required. A previous off choice remains respected.
Cloudflare tool events are limited to one attempt per action type, tool and format during a page opening. These identifier-free counts do not establish unique or returning players. Neither these counts nor Google Analytics prove that a file was saved or a Minecraft build completed. Network requests still pass through Cloudflare, which handles connection information separately.
You can decline or withdraw your choice at any time using Analytics settings in the footer. Both choices leave all tools available. Withdrawing stops new tool-event delivery and reloads a page if needed to stop an already-loaded analytics script. A withdrawal in another tab is also checked; reopen suspended tabs or reload them before continuing.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep all optional analytics off, even after an earlier opt-in. If the browser cannot save your choice, analytics stay off. Clearing site data also returns analytics to off. Visiting a link or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
We do not sell personal information or share information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use these measurements to profile individual players or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Advertising
Ads are not currently shown on Sealmount. We do not use advertising trackers. Allowing analytics does not give consent to advertising.
Before showing ads, we will update this notice with the advertising provider, data uses and available choices. Where consent is required, advertising choices will be separate from analytics choices. Declining optional data use will not prevent you from using the tools.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and attachments. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages to a Gmail inbox. Aaron uses them to answer the request, investigate the reported issue and handle necessary follow-up.
Please send only what is needed. Leave out passwords, access tokens, identity documents and other people's personal information. We do not add support correspondents to a marketing list. You do not need to email us to use the calculators.
Optional Discord community
Our Discord community is optional. Discord is a separate service that handles its own accounts and verification.
Read Discord's privacy policy.
Posts in community channels are visible to other members. Aaron uses feedback shared there to investigate issues and follow up. Keep private details out of public channels; email us for security reports or privacy requests.
The site links to Discord without embedding a Discord widget. Opening the feedback panel does not connect to Discord, and calculator inputs are not automatically attached to community posts.
Why information is processed
Where European or UK data protection law applies, we rely on consent for optional analytics; our legitimate interests in delivering and securing this small tool site and responding to messages for necessary service, security and support processing; and legal obligations where a particular record or response is required by law. Those interests are limited to these purposes and must be balanced against your rights. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
The cookieless page-view count relies on our legitimate interests in knowing, in aggregate, which pages are used and how quickly they load. Sending Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track stops it.
How long information is kept
- Local progress, settings and files: until you clear browser data or delete the files. Last-build settings are replaced as you use the planner. Privacy choices and temporary reload state follow the limits described above.
- Google Analytics user-level and event-level data retention is set to 2 months, without resetting the retention period when you return. This setting does not apply to standard aggregated reports. Google Analytics cookies follow the separate 180-day limit described above.
- Tool action records: three months under Cloudflare Analytics Engine's current retention policy.
- Cookieless page-view statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics keeps them without identifiers, under its service settings and privacy policy. We see them only as totals and breakdowns that cannot be matched to a person.
- Hosting and security data: Cloudflare manages service-side retention under its service settings and privacy policy. We use available records only while needed to understand performance, investigate faults or abuse, or meet a legal requirement. The three-month tool-event limit does not apply to every Cloudflare service.
- Support mail and attachments: only while needed to answer and resolve the issue, complete relevant follow-up, or meet a legal obligation or establish or defend a legal claim. When deciding whether to keep a message, we consider whether the issue is still open, whether a follow-up needs the information, and whether a specific legal reason requires retention. Unneeded personal details and attachments should be removed rather than retained with a general bug record.
Service providers and international processing
We use Cloudflare for hosting, protection, cookieless page-view counts, optional tool-action counts and email forwarding, and Google/Gmail for receiving and handling support mail. These providers may also process information for their own service security and legal obligations, as described in the Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by applicable law.
Google also provides the optional Google Analytics service described above. Its handling of Analytics data is separate from support email.
These services operate internationally, including in the United States and other countries. Support messages may be accessed by Aaron from China. As a result, information may be handled outside the country where you live. Contact us for details about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your request.
Your requests and complaints
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision about your request. Email support@sealmount.com and describe what you need. We will only ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and handle the request, and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe. We will explain any lawful exception or extension.
We cannot retrieve browser-local progress from your device or reliably match identifier-free action counts to a particular person. We will explain such limits rather than collect new tracking identifiers to identify your past activity. This does not prevent you from requesting deletion of identifiable information, such as an email you sent.
For Google Analytics data, a browser cookie identifier may help us locate the relevant records. Contact us before sending any identifier; we will explain what is needed and the limits of a request. Deleting cookies alone does not delete data already received by Google.
You can complain to us or to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the relevant EU/EEA supervisory authority. You do not need to contact us first where your law allows a direct complaint. Where the UK complaint rules apply, we will acknowledge a complaint within 30 days and investigate and respond without undue delay. We do not withhold tool access because you exercise privacy rights.
Younger players and parents
These tools do not ask players for an account, real name or age. Optional analytics are off by default, and we do not use advertising or individual-player profiling. Younger players should ask a parent or guardian for help with privacy choices and before sending a support message or personal details. If you are under 13, keep optional analytics off and ask a parent or guardian to contact us if you need help.
If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not be held, contact us so we can review and delete it where required. If we become aware that a child under 13 has sent a message, we limit its handling to what the law permits, such as a necessary one-time reply followed by deletion, rather than using it for ongoing contact or marketing. Browser connection and security processing still occurs as explained above.
Changes to this notice
We will update the date on this page when this notice changes. Before introducing materially different data uses, we will explain the change through a visible site notice and ask for a new choice where consent is required. A change of operator or service provider will also be reflected here.
